Due to Corona pandemic this year, the by far largest conference event in the energy and climate sector in the German-speaking world will take place digitally. And in this context also the national Prize Giving Ceremony for the winner(s) of our local Energy Savings Competition will be held in digital format.

Municipalities are currently facing the challenge of integrating climate adaptation into municipal action in addition to climate protection. European initiatives and management systems provide important support in both areas on the way to sustainable implementation.

Central aim of the event with the title “Local climate policy in the field of tension between climate protection and climate adaptation -  Results of the EU project Compete4SECAP “will be, beside the awarding ceremony, to present initiatives and instruments and to discuss and share practical experiences in the fields of climate protection and climate adaptation from the municipal level.

The event will take place on 17.06.2020  from 11:00 to 12:30.
